Board of Regents Unanimously Appoints Dr. Betty A. Rosa as Permanent Commissioner of Education
The Board of Regents unanimously appointed Dr. Betty A. Rosa as permanent Commissioner of Education and President of the University of the State of New York, the first Latina woman to serve in the position, the State Education Department announced today.

ROC the Future presents: Teachroc.org
ROC the Future is excited to be the host home for the new Teach Rochester website as part of the Teacher Pipeline project, funded by the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation. This site is designed to encourage students to pursue teaching as a profession, connect teachers of color with available teaching positions, and serve as a hub of resources related to recruitment, training and retention. RBERN staff members have supported this work to advocate for the needs of students and teachers in the fields of TESOL & Bilingual education. Please check it out and feel free to share!
