Teams will play through the North County Basketball League and we will again be hosting games with the support of our Varsity basketball program. Teams will generally practice twice per week and have games on Saturdays. Important dates are:
• Week of November 1 – Skills Clinic
• Week of November 8 – Practice begins (plan on twice per week)
• December 3 – Games begin (tentatively)
Teams are based on grade level, with the exception that K/1 is combined. K-2nd grades will be playing in a developmental 3 on 3 league with other programs. 3rd-6th grade games will be played at Nooksack, Mt. Baker, Lynden, Meridian, Blaine, and Ferndale gyms through mid-February (and will pause for Winter Break) with roughly half our games at the Nooksack Middle School.
Players need clean gym shoes, a water bottle and a basketball for practices. K-2nd use 27.5" basketballs and 3rd-6th use 28.5" basketballs.
We will have a Turkey Shoot fundraiser on November 20 to raise funds to support our Little League and keep registration fees low. If we reach our goal we will be able to purchase shooter shirts for all players!
We will post a link on Facebook to our team store where spirit wear can be purchased prior to the start of the season.
