Quality Matters (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses. K-12 Applying the Quality Matters Secondary Rubric is their flagship course. Get an introduction to QM, learn how to use the Rubric and apply it to a real course. If you are looking to improve your online or blended course design with research supported standards which include annotation and best practices, this professional learning experience is for you! Practice writing helpful recommendations for continuous improvement with the QM Rubric as your guide. This professional learning experience also counts as the first step towards becoming a K-12 Course Reviewer!

Details, Costs and Registration

DATE: April 15th to May 6th, 2019

COURSE LENGTH: 3 weeks (Approximately 15 hours over 3 weeks)

DELIVERY MODE: Online Asynchronous


COST: $50 - payment must be received prior to enrollment.

The remaining cost of this professional learning experience is being subsidized by the Wisconsin Digital Learning Collaborative (WDLC). IF the participant does not successfully complete the course they may be billed an additional $200. Cancellations are accepted only by a signed fax or email and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline of one day (24 hours) prior to the course start date to dnordine@cesa9.org (715-891-1248 cell). Registration cancellations received on or after the course start date will not be eligible for a refund.
