Donnelly's Order Update
In collaboration with Donnelly’s we were able to “pause” production on many items so we could get the new name/logo put on items. Anything that had not already been printed is on hold as we work to get the new printing information to them within the next week. If your items had already been printed, they say MLC and are either awaiting pick up or have bene shipped. We ask for your patience as we do the best we can as we make this exciting transition.

Mending Minds
MLC’s new Mending Minds Group had a GREAT turnout for the Suicide Prevention and Awareness week! On behalf of the group, we would like to thank ALL who donated to this extremely important cause and hope that this topic reminded students that they are not alone and there are resources to improve coping mechanisms! MLC has many supports within the building including countless numbers of adults that are here to lend an ear.
Next Up: October 10th is World Mental Health Day and this group will be implementing awareness around the topic of Depression during the month of October. Looking forward to continuing the process in increasing support at our school’s environment
CLASS OF 2022 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Odalys Cruz
MLC has given me great opportunities such as, going to colleges and exploring them, having fun and interesting international trips every year. MLC has taught me to be confident in things I have passion for,t taught me to be open minded in asking questions and researching information that question my own beliefs. Working with teachers and students I have learned a great deal of teamwork skills. I know I'm going to take some of these with me while going to Manchester Community College for 2 years and while also taking a course in phlebotomy for 14 weeks during those two years.

MLC has impacted my view on the world In a major way. I see everything with an open mind and an open heart. I've experienced extreme diversity and I've had many opportunities to travel to places I normally wouldn't have traveled to. In 6th grade we went to Cape Cod, in 7th we went to New York, in 8th we went to Canada, and in 9th we went to Washington D.C. I've been able to meet people and make connections that without MLC I might not have. MLC has offered me many opportunities within the building as well including Green Team and GSA. After MLC I plan on studying Business marketing and Audio engineering, which will hopefully lead to me opening my own recording Studio.
