Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD)

Inventions
During the Tang Dynasty there were a lot of useful inventions. One of their successful intervention was tea. Tea, was commonly traded for silk and other goods on the Grand Canal. Some more inventions that were made in this time period include: scroll paint used for their art work, the clock to know when important events are coming, gun powder which was used in there wars and added it to their fireworks, and they established a government. Some buildings that were made was, the Chang'an which was the main city. They also expanded the silk road which they also used to trade on.
Religion/Culture/Social Life

Politics
Politics were a very important part of the tang dynasty. The first ruler was Li Yuan, and the last was Li Zhu. To gain power the rulers fought each other for the throne. During the Tang Dynasty China reached its greatest size ever. New farming regions increased wealth, trade grew, there was anew tax system, and many new inventions. Rulers lost power because hey inored the needs of the poor.

Economics
Some important jobs/ activities that were important during the tang dynasty was agriculture. This was used for when people were in pain, and this would help them heal. The handcraft industry was a place where a lot of goods were made to sell and then to make money. Here they made clothes, house needs, grew some crops, and had some handmade art work. What they traded was coins, paper money, tea for silk, porcelain, rice, silks, spices, and tea. They always had their trade routes protected and they traded with India, Middle East, and Europe.
