9th-12th Credit Recovery Summer School

Once again, we will offer Credit Recovery Summer School for students needing to make up credits. This year's dates are June 19 - July 21, 2017. Brittney Spence is the teacher and she will visit sites according to the following schedule.

Monday - Portola High School

Tuesday - Quincy High School

Wednesday AM - Greenville High School

Wednesday PM - Chester High School

These students should be recommended by the site Counselor/Principal to attend the classes. It is crucial to know what class, semester and textbook will be needed for each student.

Please refer students to your Principal and/or Counselor for Summer School.

Strengthening the Start

PUSD is focusing on a strong start to each class period or learning opportunity, honing in on these three areas:

At the midpoint of our school year, district-wide data is after each component:

Learning Environment: A sustained, successful start routine promoting positive behavior and a positive learning environment is evidenced for all students. (88% All or Most)

Instructional Time: A sustained, successful start routine optimizing efficient and effective student learning is evidenced for all students. (71% All or Most)

Student Engagement: All students actively participate and engage in the sustained, successful start expectations. (86.2 % All or Most)
