Nancy Churnin - Visiting Author
Nancy Churnin, author of the award-winning William Hoy Story visited with the students of Mt. Peak. She shared her book with students and told of how William Hoy, a deaf baseball player, helped to added the signals in baseball that we still use today!

Snapchat Orientation
3rd - 5th grade students had the chance to review the rules by scanning QR codes that led them to a snapchat video of Mrs. Ramirez asking important questions about the library and proper book care.
iPad Rollout
PreK-5th grade students received iPads to assist with instruction and learning. These 1st grade students are #MISDProud to show off their new iPads!
A LOOK AT OUR BOOKS
Circulation
3,484 books were circulated in the months of August and September. 26 e-books were checked out by students.
Library Loans
24 books were borrowed from other campuses in the months of August and September.
Students Served
3,100 students came to the library with their classes in August and September!
