From the Principal...
Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s), & Students,
The chill of winter is upon us. Please help remind your child to bring/wear ‘all 5’ items {coat, snow pants, gloves, hat, boots} as we go outside daily. If your child is in need of any of these winter items; please let our Counselor, Mr. Davydov know (ydavydov@mdsd.org).
In the event of any COVID changes to the school schedule or a Snow Day, you will be notified by phone/email by our automated calling system. Be sure we always have your updated contact information. For a Snow Day, the district will try to make a decision no later than 6:30 AM to activate one of these options:
- CANCEL school for the day (for all students)
- Implement “2 HOUR DELAY” (Buses pick up 2 hours later than normal and the school day would run from 10:05-3:00.)
Enjoy the upcoming holiday season with COVID safe solutions and the snowy days to come!
Mrs. Berg
Giving Tree
We have teamed up with our local McCall community as a school to sponsor a local family this holiday season. If you are looking for a way to support/help a local family, feel free to call our office and we are happy to share wish list items from our tree. You may also drop off any Cram the Van gifts to our office as well. Any donations are due to BRMES by December 11th.
2nd Semester Plan/Intent
If you are requesting a CHANGE in placement for the second semester (from On-Line to In Person or vice versa), which begins on January 26, 2021, please contact our school office or use this link no later than December 4. If your intent is to continue your child's current plan; nothing is needed from you at this time. For our online students, we are anticipating teaching every other day just as the In-person students do; but will confirm your specific two days once we know what enrollment numbers look like after the change deadline.
While we hope the hybrid model (every other day schedule) will be sustainable for the remainder of the school year, the possibility of moving to a fully on-line option exists. At BRMES, if we move to a fully on-line model at any point, we will continue live instruction through Microsoft Teams with your child's teacher on the same every other day schedule.
Microsoft Teams
Powerschool

Once you have an account, you can download the Powerschool app to use from a mobile device. Our code is: XLLD. Call us if you are needing further assistance @ 634-2219.
