EXTRA SEL
Extra SEL
We are excited to share that beginning Tuesday, March 19, Mornings with Mrs. Chambers will begin for extra SEL time. This will be available for any Center School student and will be every Tuesday from 8:00 - 8:30. This will be a less structured time to talk, share ideas, work on school problem-solving, and have some fun. Please use this signup link to let me know your student will be attending and if there is something specific you think your student would benefit from working on. Questions or concerns can be sent directly to Mrs. Chambers at vchambers@tewksbury.k12.ma.us. Please note extra help for other specialist teachers will continue to be available by appointment.
PICKUP/DROP OFF- WALKERS
This is just a reminder not to arrive early for drop-off and pick-up. We need to let Ryan's parents cycle through before we start staging. As a reminder drop-off starts at 8:45 and pick-up starts at 3:05.
If you arrive early and the Ryan is still arriving/dismissing, you will be asked to drive around the campus.
WALKERS- Please only come to the office if your child is truly a walker. Please do not come to the office to dismiss/sign your child for a walker if you are parking. The pick-up line does move quickly once dismissal starts at 3:05.

SMART SAVERS PROGRAM
TEWKSBURY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION SMART SAVERS
Did you know that experts say financial behaviors are already formed by the time a child reaches age 7?
Children Who Have a Savings Account...
Have greater expectations for education beyond high school
Have higher employment rates as adults
Become more financially successful & have less debt as adults
Develop positive financial behaviors to last a lifetime
At Tewksbury Federal Credit Union, our goal is to help families make smart money choices, strengthen our community, and help our youth achieve future success!
Join our Smart Savers Program, coming to your school this fall!
How it works:
Savings accounts are offered to students at the start of the school year (watch for our postcard and account application coming home in September!)
Interested families fill out the account application and return it to school with the student on the 1st scheduled banking date
TFCU comes to your school twice a month on predetermined dates to collect deposits
Students get to choose a small prize each time they participate
We’ll offer some additional fun activities and contests throughout the school year
Students really love participating, and they learn the important habit of saving money!
PICKUP PATROL- IMPORTANT!!!

INFORMATION DRIVING AROUND THE CAMPUS
GETTING READY to WELCOME YOU to our NEW CENTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (CES)
CES Parent Drop Off/Pick Up. Animated Video
Please follow these directions for arriving and dropping off your child at our new building. Please do not arrive early in the morning or afternoon. The right lane will move along and everyone will enter/leave the building in a timely manner. Click here to see video.
Drop off and pick up
Looking at Ryan, enter the complex using the one-way driveway to the left of the Ryan.
There will be 2 one way lanes around the complex, the left lane for through traffic to exit the complex. The right lane for drop off/pick up.
Stay in the right lane all the way around the building until you get to the drop-off area between Center Elementary and Ryan's sidewalk.
Do not enter the left lane unless you are leaving the complex. The left lane will be for parents/staff to exit the complex.
After you drop off, exit the complex.
Using the left lane will allow you to exit left to Pleasant St
Using the right lane will allow you to exit right to Pleasant St.
If you have a child at the Ryan and CES
Will need to re-enter the loop after dropping off your child at the Ryan and re-cue in line when it is time for the CES. The same is true for pick-up at the end of the day for pick-up.
NOTIFY THE OFFICE
CESsecretary@tewksbury.k12.ma.us
