HSC Halloween Traditions
I have been working with our terrific HSC to put together something special for each Barracuda as we work to pivot our Halloween Fun Night activities for this year. More details will be shared out through the Bagby Banner and HSC communications in the days to come.
Bagby Community Update
At Bagby and throughout CSD, our core values are rooted in taking care of one another. Recently, Dr. Andrews sent out a message to our entire community about our shared commitment to health, safety and the work we all need to do to prevent the spread of illness in the COVID Health and Safety Update.
The Bagby school community was recently impacted by COVID-19. While the personal details will remain private, I can assure you that the situation was handled with the utmost care and in accordance with all Santa Clara County Public Health protocols. Information and guidance was, and will always be, given to those directly impacted in an expedient manner. The experience has certainly strengthened our school community, as we have circled around to support one another.
The safety protocols in place proved to be highly effective. You have my pledge that we, CSD and Bagby, will remain steadfast in our adherence to them and to protecting one another.
Have a safe & restful weekend,
Michael

YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT CAMBRIAN STUDENTS and ENDORSE CAMBRIAN LAND DEVELOPMENT
The Cambrian School District has been in the process of assessing potential land redevelopment of District-owned properties as a new ongoing revenue stream to support our students, programs, and District. After evaluating multiple options, we identified the Metzler Elementary School at Cambrianna Drive as a promising opportunity to convert a portion of this site into an ongoing revenue stream. The proposed development matches and complements the character of the neighborhood.
The proposed housing development project for the Cambrian School district will generate ongoing revenue that will support CSD’s outstanding programs. Please join Cambrian parents, teachers, and neighbors and click here to sign a letter of support asking the City of San Jose to approve the District’s general plan amendment application.
For more information about the Cambrian School District’s “Support Our Students” land development initiative, please check out our webpage or contact former Cambrian School District parent Eve Walton at SOSCambrianSchoolDistrict@gmail.com. Stay informed on the Initiative, please sign up for our mailing list by clicking here.
