Who discovered Europa
The person who discovered Europa was Galileo Galilei. He discover it in Jan. 8,1610. Then one other person said they discovered the moon. The person's name is Simon Marius on the same day.
Facts about Europa
Europa is 4.5 billion years old. The distance the moon is from Jupiter is 414,000 miles. it takes 3 1/2 Earth days to orbit around Jupiter. Inside the moon is hotter than outside.
The heat comes from Jupiter's gravity. It is very Far From the Sun. 1,900 miles in diameter, it is smaller than Earth's moon.
Other facts
The surface is blue and brown. It's surface is made of silicate rock, and has an iron core. There is a lot of cracks on the surface.
