ALL POSITIVE - ALL ATHLETICS - ALL EAGLES - OCT. 2021
A Message From the Athletic Director
With the fall season coming to an end for all sports in the next few weeks, we are already looking forward to the winter season. A lot of our athletes are currently resting their bodies while they stay caught up with their grades. There are a lot of positives to reflect on this past month, but the best thing to celebrate in my opinion are the 59 varsity athletes who have earned Flint Metro League Scholar Athlete. To qualify for this award you have to be in 10-12th grade and a varsity letter winner with a cumulative G.P.A. of a 3.5 or above. With the amount of student-athletes that are earning grades that high, I am not surprised with how we handle ourselves on and off of the playing surface. This month has shown me yet again that this is a very special community and we have a lot to be proud of. Adversity has struck for a few of our programs, yet we continue to handle ourselves with pride and an extreme level of class. Happy Halloween and Go Eagles!
Enjoy!

A message from the coaches
"Linden's Varsity Cheerleaders attended MaxAthletics camps and a Total Effects Jump and Flexibility clinic this summer. Our team's commitment to working hard every day was remarkable. This helped improve their stunting and gymnastics while building a stronger culture within the program. We had 64 youth cheerleaders attend our Youth Cheer Clinic while the MS program and the alumni joined us during the 2021 homecoming game. We had 28 alumni cheerleaders ranging from the graduating class of 2021 to 1979! Also, thank you to all those who donated to our Vertical Raise fundraiser, including Niles Industrial Coating, LCC in Fenton who donated money towards our new weights! The cheer program wouldn't be the same without the outstanding support of our parents and donors!" - Sideline Cheer Coach, Rosa Spannagel
"The Varsity Football team ended their season this last Friday 24-27 to North Branch. That left the team just out of the playoffs. Four of our six losses were by a combined 11 points. I would like to thank the 9 seniors for all their hard work and dedication. With the return of 27 underclassmen, the future looks bright!" - Varsity Football Coach, Denny Hopkins
Congratulations to our Boys Cross Country Team - Flint Metro League Champions!
