Clinton-Massie Treasurer, Tracy Parker, announces retirement
Tracy Parker has been a part of the Clinton-Massie Local School District’s Treasurer’s Office since March of 1989 with a brief 9-month stint as Human Resource Specialist at Warren County Career Center. She has served as Treasurer for 17 of her 30-year career. Throughout her time in education, Tracy has been committed to being a good steward of district funds and is grateful to have been a part of the Falcon Family.
Tracy is a graduate of East Clinton Local Schools and received her Accounting Degree from Southern State Community College. She obtained her School Treasurer’s License in 1990 and is an active member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials. Tracy has received the Ohio Auditor of State Award for the past several years, and she was awarded the Southwest Region OSBA 2018 Outstanding Treasurer of the year.
Tracy’s greatest reward in life has been her family. She has been married for 30 years to her loving husband, Jerry, and has two wonderful daughters, Courtney and Kensey. Tracy is looking forward to the next chapter of her life and being able to spend more time with her family while helping with the family business.
Although Tracy has enjoyed working at CM for the past 30 years and takes great pride in her accomplishments, her most lasting memories will be all of the friendships and relationships she has made along the way. Tracy wishes CM continued success.
The Clinton-Massie Board of Education has recently named Tracy's successor. Carrie Bir, an educator out of Centerville City Schools, will replace Tracy as the treasurer effective January 1, 2019. Tracy and Carrie have been working on the transition of duties over the last couple of months.
