Notes From the Office
Only adults listed on a student's emergency contacts will be able to check out a student from school. In addition, anyone picking up a child, will need identification to be able to check a student out of school.
Any changes to your child's dismissal procedure need to be sent to Mrs. McCartney before 3:00.
All volunteers must have a limited criminal history and sex offender background check performed by the school every year. This includes anyone interested in helping out without classroom parties. This process can take some time, so please contact the office well in advance of the school or classroom event.
What's New With PTO
Our next PTO meeting is Wednesday, October 5 after school in the library.
Are you interested in volunteering for the school, but don't know how? Consider offering your time, talent, and ideas to help make the Green Township PTO even better. Start the process by sending an email to greentwp.pto@gmail.com.

Curricular Materials and Meal Assistance Program
This program helps families receive a discount on lunch and curricular fees if you qualify. Participating in this program can help Green Township Elementary because many grants and organizations provide additional funding to the school and district based on the number of qualifying families. Even if you think you will not qualify, please take a moment to read the information:

Feed the Monster
Students can bring in store bought candy to "feed the monster" from October 17 - October 26. These items will be divided evenly between all classes so everyone gets to enjoy a fun holiday treat. Thanks for your help!
Halloween Parties
Students can wear a costume to school on October 28, but they need to be kid-friendly. Students should not wear face paint, bloody costumes, or bring fake weapons.
