News for the week of November 26th

Quote of the Week

"In education it isn't how much you have committed to memory or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don't. It's knowing where to go to find out what you need to know and it's knowing how to use the information you get"

-William Feather

Word from the Wise:

"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn" - Ignacio Estrad

Do not place yourself in a situation where you must apologize to parents, administration, or central office personnel for your mistakes.

Photo Of The Week

Here is a prime example of finding balance at work! This picture of Mrs. Phillips at the seventh grade block party is a great example of being able to have a little fun at the appropriate time. It shows our kids that we too can enjoy ourselves!

Lastly...

Start each day over as new, leaving the previous day problems and stress behind!

Remember to treat each student as if they were your own.

Remember be consistent with your rules and expectations.
