Goodbye Parade
As always all Staff is asked to line our sidewalk by the bus lot to see our babies off for the summer on Wednesday, June 10th. That means you will start by the lower teacher parking lot and line up along the sidewalk to wave goodbye to our bus riding all-stars!
Then you are asked to go up to the car pickup line and help load each and every child into a vehicle. No student should have to open his or her own door on this day. This time is to say goodbye to a few great children and sing their praises. Encourage summer reading and fun.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET OUR PURPOSE...It is easy to see a teacher friend and get caught up in small talk...This time is all about the children of Forest Heights. Hip-Hip Hooray. Save you teacher talk for later.

Wells Fargo Day of Caring
Community service volunteers are an invaluable resource to Forest Heights Elementary School. We proudly announce that we were fortunate enough to have an extraordinary Wells Fargo team on site this past Saturday, June 6, 2015 from Wells Fargo Bank, 110 East Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia for the 2015 Wells Fargo Gaston Day of Caring. We extend our gratitude and appreciation for your kindness.
The Volunteers replanted the planter outside of our media center, clear weeds, limbs and trash from our flowers and grounds in front of our school.
Pictured is Market President and Business Banking Manger from 110 E. Franklin Branch and his team.
In addition ...My sister and sister-in-law dropped by and assembled the planter out front by our bird feeders.
Saturday was a busy day at FHES.
