FOURTH GRADE CABANISS CONNECTION
September Edition 2023
Sept-25th-29th
Second 6-Weeks is here!
Greetings,
The first six weeks of school are finished! We definitely look forward to the cooler weather coming in. We have many things planned this grading period from after school events and a 4th grade sponsored fundraiser. We continue our learning from the previous grading period and will move on to more advanced units in our core subjects.
Also, please continue to work with your child on skills each week and make sure they are practicing all skills on the recommended platforms. Please make sure that students continue to read daily.
We are appreciative of your support and if you have any questions or concerns please contact your child's homeroom teacher.

Snack Time
Due to the early time that our lunch is at, the 4th grade team has a designated time in the afternoon for snacks. This is for a single small snack like fruit, veggies ( not for dipping), chips, crackers. If you would like to donate a variety box/bag of snack to the class you may do so( just remember it must be nut free). We have had an issue with certain snacks ( doritos, takis, cheetos) that cause the hands to become very dirty. Many students are immediately going back to their devices or work and getting it all over. We would like for those snacks to be excluded from the class.
