Virtual Back to School Night - August 20, 2020

We hope you are all able to join your student(s) teacher(s) to learn more about our Distance Learning Program, including schedules, attendance, curriculum, technology platforms, and a message from Principal Patterson. Links to meetings for each teacher will be provided as soon as possible as well as on the day of the event. The schedule will be as follows:


  • 5:30 p.m.-6:05 p.m. for Hartman, Nichols, Bauer, Kirk, Stowers, Henshaw, Hudspeth, Vaa
  • 6:15 p.m.-6:50 p.m for Maloney, Wheeler, Patterson, Autrey, Becker, Hildan
  • 7:00 p.m.-7:35 p.m. for Nottoli, Weeks, Arin, Bruice, Haviland, O'Hara, Beardsley, Smith, Vaughen, Hark-Cunha


RVC students will receive information regard BTSN from Mrs. Hanks. Stay tuned!

Lunch @ SRES!

Please read this important update from our Nutrition Services Department regarding school meals. Lunch is served between 11:00-12:00 Monday-Friday at Sunset Ranch via curbside service (by Multipurpose Room). To pick up lunch, elementary students will state name and teacher to nutrition staff. Please do not remain on campus. SRES campus is currently closed to visitors during the school day with the exception of the office during office hours following health protocols. Thank you!

Back to School Supplies

Traditionally, we have provided a suggested list of supplies by grade level. This year we have created a list of recommended school supplies which can be viewed here. At this time, please focus on what your student will need at home for distance learning or RVCing. We recommend creating a special space just for school that is free from distractions.


If you are in need of supplies, please contact Cachet Abedi @ cabedi@rocklinusd.org or call 916-624-2048 to arrange for pick up. We have backbacks filled with various supplies thanks to our community partners.

SRES OFFICE IS OPEN

Our office is open to foot traffic during school hours from 7:50-2:20. At this time we are only allowing 1 person in the office at a time and a mask must be worn when entering. Feel free to call as well. We are here to help. Thank you!

What to do if you see a disable message when you start your Chromebook?

Families may see a message that your device has been disabled the first time you start your Chromebook. Once you connect the device to WiFi this message will go away. If it does not go away after connecting to WiFi, restarting will allow it to get the information and be enabled.


Over the course of the next few days with use, you will see a prompt that there is an update and your Chromebook needs to be restarted. Please restart your device when you see this message. At the end of each day, please shutdown your Chromebook before you close the lid. This will ensure your device restarts and gets any needed update automatically.
