Photosynthesis
The sun starts off the process of photosynthesis. The plant takes in water with its roots and carbon dioxide that we exhale. With the sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide it makes a sugar called glucose. When they make the glucose that is what they eat. The equation is 6CO2+ 6H2O+ light energy+ C6H12O6+ 6O2. The CO2 stands for 2 molecules of carbon dioxide, 6H2O stands for 6 molecules of water, C6 stands for 6 molecules of carbon, H12 stands for 12 molecules of hydrogen, O6 stands for 6 molecules of oxygen, CO2 stands for 2 molecules of carbon dioxide.
