2023-2024 - PARENT NEWSLETTER - Vol. 8
Dear families,
We are so glad to be back in our routine and getting to educate and see your child daily. We have created a list of the spring events as of now, at the bottom of this page. Please make a plan to participate in events and also compare the events when making appointments for your student.
We will have a Book Fair/Class hallway gallery walk on the night of January 23. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Collier will be volunteering to be pied in the face to raise money for our teachers to shop in the book fair at the end of the week. We hope you plan to join us in this fun event and buy books for your home as well as our classrooms. If you would like to volunteer to help at the book fair, see information below.
GT- Fall Projects & Nomination Form
ICYMI- our GT Students have completed their fall projects. Here is a preview of their hard work!
If you are considering nominating your student for the GT program, but missed our parent meeting Wednesday, please review the presentation. Be sure to chat with your child's teacher for their feedback. Forms are available in the slideshow and are due to Mrs. Shafer by Jan. 31.

Counselor Corner
During the 4th 6-Weeks, our focus during counselor lessons will be conflict resolution. We will learn age-appropriate ways to discuss our conflicts and find ways to peacefully work together. Students will also learn the difference in "reporting" and "tattling".
