Teacher Appreciation Week 2016: Thank you TJ Feeder Pattern "Everyday Heroes"!
Executive Director's Message
Thomas Jefferson Feeder Colleagues, Friends, Family, and Neighbors:
As we celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank each of you for your continued support of the 13 schools in the Thomas Jefferson Feeder Pattern - support that manifests itself in both word and deed on a daily basis. Some of the greatest teachers in the country are in Dallas ISD, many of whom bring their passion and talent each day to classrooms in the Thomas Jefferson Feeder Pattern! It is worth pausing to share a sincere "Thank You" to the teachers, leaders, and professional support staff who have made learning happen for our students during the first 32 weeks of this school year. Our students are becoming more prepared for college and the workforce every day because of their interactions with you.
While there is still much work to be done, it's also worth taking a moment to reflect on how far we've come. The second semester of the 2015-16 school year has been a busy one in our schools, marked by academic successes, major awards, and incredible community involvement and support. Please take a moment to check out some of the highlights in the space below. Our students are are excelling academically, cultivating their talents, and leading the district in many areas. Moreover, our feeder pattern boasts one of the highest concentrations of distinguished teachers in Dallas ISD, with more to be nominated next year - indicative of the caliber of instruction provided by our teachers throughout the feeder.
It's a great time to be a student, teacher, parent, or community member in the TJ Feeder -Dallas ISD's premier feeder pattern! Thank you again for choosing to support our schools, students, and community and I look forward to finishing this year stronger than ever and continuing to celebrate the growth and positive direction of the TJ Feeder Pattern and Dallas ISD!
