A Note From the Principal
Good Morning River Hawk Families,
Thank you for your support this week with CAASPP Testing. Next week we move into Math (both grades) and Science (8th grade only). Once again, students will test in their regular class periods for those subjects. Please continue to ensure they have a good breakfast and get plenty of sleep.
Peter and the Starcatcher was a great evening out and we are grateful to all the families and friends that came out to support our cast and crew! They did an amazing job led by Mr. Owston. Be sure to see a picture of the cast below.
Finally, be sure to go into Infinite Campus Tuesday afternoon after 3 p.m. to check progress report grades for quarter 4. On the menu, go to "Documents" and select the Q4 Progress Report Card. If your student needs to work on bringing up their grade, please be sure to have them reach out to teachers early. Because quarter 4 ends the year and teachers' last day is Friday, June 2nd, they must have stricter deadlines, so they can grade everything and turn their grades in on-time. Be sure your student clearly understands each teacher's last date to turn work in.
In this issue learn more about:
- Band and Choir's Music in the Parks Festival Appearance
- Valencia HS Wrestling Team opportunities for 8th graders heading to Valencia

Sincerely,
Mrs. Bennett
