Incoming Kindergarteners Information 2021-2022

We will host two KINDERGARTEN EVENTS this year.

  • Thursday, February 25 at 6:00 p.m. (via Zoom). This event will be a general school overview, meet the principal, curriculum overview and provide information on registration.
  • Thursday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m. (TBD - in person, if possible, or via Zoom). This will be a traditional orientation event. You will meet the principal and kindergarten teachers, learn more specific information about a day in the life of a kindergarten student and obtain information on helping your child be ready for kindergarten.

Parents are encouraged to attend both events, if at all possible.

Online registration will begin at the end of January.

PUBLIC LIBRARY - YOUTH ACCESS CARDS

Exciting news! Beaverton City Library (BCL) and Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) will be mailing a library card called a Youth Access Card (YAC) to our new students and kindergarten students (all other students received their card last year). They hope to mail them before February 1.

Students can use their library card to access a wealth of resources at the library and online.

If you have questions about using these new cards, please check out this flyer. It also has contact information for library services.

BCL and WCCLS created these two videos about the Youth Access Card:

IMMUNIZATION EXCLUSION DAY - FEBRUARY 17

Even though we are in Distance Learning, students must be current in their immunizations.

NOTE: When we return to in-person instruction, students who are not current with their immunizations will not be allowed at school.

Immunization Exclusion Day is Wednesday, February 17. We sent out reminder notifications to the students who are not up to date with their immunizations.
