A Message from Principal Bame

Dear LPE Families,

We are incredibly grateful for the support and patience of our community these past few days as we navigated transportation disruptions. A special thank you to our staff for staying later to ensure all students dismissed safely. It truly takes a village and I am so proud to be a member of ours!

Our PTA planned and facilitated a successful Trunk or Treat event on Saturday. Over 190 cars came through our line! We also have several PTA related events coming up in the next few weeks, so please take a moment to read the contents available in the PTA section of this newsletter.

  • Become a member of the Laurel Park PTA. Consider attending General Membership meetings.
  • Join us on Saturday, November 13th for our Fall Campus Beautification Day. Details and volunteer sign up information coming soon.
  • Participate in Garden Club with your child. This is a fun way to spend time outside with your child and school community while also giving back.
  • Donate items to your child's class from their teacher's wish list.
  • Offer to help with classroom materials from home. Many times our teachers need help with cutting out and pasting materials, prepping classroom activities, and much more.

Friendly Reminders for Parents/Caregivers:

  • All Parents: Please label your child's personal items, including clothing. We notice many lost jackets and water bottles this time of year!

Kind Regards,

Principal Raleigh G. Bame

Saludos cordiales, Directora Raleigh G. Bame
