Activism Workshop
Wednesday, January 11th from 1:30pm-3:30pm / ARC 2nd floor
This is an activism workshop on internalized discrimination and the relation to mental health issues. This workshop aims to help students understand intersectional identities such as race, class, gender, nationality, etc. and how they play a role in social systems that perpetuate privilege and oppression.
Friend – Request (Round 2)
Wednesday, January 11th from 4-6 pm / Mobius Hall & Art Gallery
Join CSG and your fellow Kodiaks at the premier friendship-forming event of the year! Formally known as “Speed Friending”, “Friend Request” is seeking to take all of the aspects of the previous event that seasoned Kodiaks know and love, and improve by adding more activities for a greater variety of tastes. We are debuting two brand new activities within this event that will make you want to let out your inner child. Curious what they are? Only one way to find out! (Hint, hint: one involves a ball pit and the other, Nerf Dart Launchers!) All are welcome to attend, especially first year students! Worried the event is during dinner time and you’ll go hungry? Worry not. There will be pizza, popcorn and candy provided. This is one event you surely do not want to miss!
The Beginning of the Quarter Celebration
Thursday, January 12th from 12pm to 2:00pm / The Center (CC1-002)
All are welcome to join in on the fun. Come and celebrate the beginning of the quarter with The Center for Culture, Inclusion & Community, International Programs and the Veterans Resource Center while enjoying free food and making new friends! We hope to see you all there.
