Message from Dr. Frischkorn
Happy New Year!
The new year is officially here and our Mayfield Bobcat community is ready to continue to learn and grow. It is our hope and goal to make 2021 the best year yet. If we learned anything from the last year it is to be resilient and flexible to the ever-changing events that have been occurring.
The new year also brings the start of the 2nd semester and the 3rd quarter marking period at Mayfield Intermediate School. I want to help every student start the new year off on the right foot. Here are just a couple of suggestions that I believe will truly help every student excel:
- Show up to every class.
- Be on time and prepared to be an active participant in the class.
- Complete assignments as soon as they are given. Don't procrastinate.
- Regularly set up a time to meet with your teachers during their office hours for support.
- Maintain a consistent morning and nighttime routine throughout the school week.
Always Learning!

Library Rentals and Return
Please remember, students can still borrow books from our Mayfield library by following these steps:
Students may make a HOLD request through the online catalog. They may request up to 2 books, which need to be picked up on the nearest pick up day. Books from last year will have to be returned before requests can be picked up. Checked out materials will be due in 2 weeks. Pick up hours will be on Thursday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. A librarian will be located in front of the building to accept returns and distribute requested items.
Library Books can Be Returned at the Library Dropbox at Osbourn High School
