Vocational Catering Update
This year's Pumpkin Roll sales went through the roof! We had 61 rolls to make, and the culinary students rose to the challenge. We added cinnamon and maple-flavored centers as options this year. Kurtacee, Maddie, and the culinary department's Ms. Honse, Mrs. Swisher and Ms. McLaughlin worked hard to complete these orders. One tip if you are making these at home, is to use a dishtowel sprinkled with powdered sugar when rolling up your pumpkin roll! We hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving Feast Recreated In Ms. Kester's Room
Students in Ms. Kester's room decided to celebrate Thanksgiving early last week by recreating the 'Feast' in the holiday classic movie, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. The menu included toast, popcorn, pretzels, jelly beans, and pumpkin pie. Ms. Kester's students invited another schoolmate, Kassidy, to join them, and Snoopy and Mrs. Swisher from Independent Living Skills class!
Each student had a job to do to pull off the feast - Errion made the toast, Leah passed out the plates, Aaliyah counted out the jelly beans, Laylah took care of the pretzel distribution, and Errion served the pie. Students enjoyed watching and listening to the Thanksgiving special with audio descriptions, that described the action in the movie.
Varsity Swim Event - December 9th
We will be finishing up our Varsity Swimming with a timed event on Thursday, December 9th. The final event will start at 3:30 and be finished by 5:00pm. Come out to cheer on our varsity swimmers! ~ Coach Grim
