Mustang Monday Message
Mustang Family,
It is hard to believe that this is the last Monday Message of another great school year! We made it through one of the most interesting years in history! A year of masks, lots of hand sanitizing, Zoom, and physical distancing where possible. Our students and staff not only survived, but thrived! I am so proud of each of them!
I want you to know that I count it a great privilege and blessing to work with you, your children, and our wonderful staff. I am a better person because of the interactions I have with each and every one of you. I wish the best to our fifth and sixth graders as they move onto the middle school—they will do great, but we will surely miss them!
Our class placement request window is open until the end of the week. If you have any information that you would like to share about your child that would be helpful in placing them in a class, please complete this form BEFORE May 28th. See detailed information below.
If you know for certain that your student will not be returning to Meadow Brook in the fall, please let the office know as soon as possible or let me know via email. This will help us as we balance classes for next year.
Thanks for helping us rise— have a wonderful summer! Best wishes,
Principal Balli
2021-2022 Class Placement Information
Class placement is a difficult task and one that I take very seriously. As this year ends, teachers will be meeting together and dividing up the students in their classes for next year. The teachers do not assign teachers to these class lists but focus on balancing the classes (according to range of student ability, behaviors, gender, and the number of students) for the next grade level. Teacher input will be one of the greatest factors in placing students. After teachers submit these lists, I will assign teachers to classes.
If you have any information that you would like to share that would be helpful in placing them in a class, please complete this form BEFORE May 28th and I will match your child with the teacher that can best meet his/her need(s). I prefer that this form does not contain a desired teacher’s name; if you feel an absolute need to put down a teacher’s name, please include 2 EQUAL choices of teachers that you feel your child would be successful working with and I will do my best to accommodate. Teachers on each grade level spend a great deal of time working together to best meet the needs of each student. Because of the strong teams of teachers at Meadow Brook, I am confident that your kids will be in good hands next year.
I will accept this form up until the last day of school. If there are any questions regarding student placement don’t hesitate to call or email me.
Mensaje del lunes de Mustang
Familia Mustang,
