Medication Policy:
Students are prohibited from carrying any medications, including inhalers, at school. We have encountered multiple students carrying inhalers, antibiotics, and pain relievers in school this year. According to NYS law, this is a serious infraction and can result is serious disciplinary consequences. The Nurse Practitioner in our school clinic is happy to refill inhalers and write doctor’s orders for school use if needed. Please call the school clinic at 716-838-7460 with any questions or concerns.
If you have not done so, please send a fax of your child’s most current physical to the school clinic at 716-836-8543 if you have not done so this school year. It is a state mandate to have a yearly physical report.
