First Annual Trek for Tech
Wednesday is our First Annual Trek for Tech! Students need to return to school with pledge sheets and be prepared to walk!
The entire school will do one lap at the beginning and then each class will have one hour to walk to have their laps counted. The schedule is found later in this newsletter.
We have received the Trek for Tech t-shirts (for everyone that ordered them) and will hand them out prior to starting the walk. We want all students to wear a red or black t-shirt if they did not purchase a Trek for Tech shirt. We will send students home with his or her punch card saying how many laps were walked during their hour time period. All donations and pledges will benefit our technology fund.

Summer School 2017
We are excited about hosting summer school in our new building this year. We hope to offer classes for students entering into kindergarten to high school. The summer school calendar will be May 22-26, 30-31 and June 1, 5-8 , 12-15, 19-22, and 26-29. This will allow us to have no Friday classes in June. We will have summer school for 24 days. Summer School enrollment forms will be coming home very soon! Please be looking for them!
February Character Students - Honesty
Ryatt Reynolds
"Ryatt is such a riot! He doesn't just keep us in stitches all day, but he has a very serious side too. Ryatt is one of the most honest young people I know. He is what we call, "Thick skinned." Even when it's difficult to tell the truth he is still honest. The thoughts of others don't get in his way, because the truth matters more to him. Other young people consider Ryatt a good friend and I contribute that to Ryatt's genuine personality. Always be you, Ry!"
~Mrs. Brodin
Dylan Bruemmer
“ I can count on Dylan to tell me what happened in a situation, even if he is the one that has done wrong. He works hard and follows directions as well. Way to go, Dylan!” ~Mrs. Holtschneider
Hunter Ringwald
“Hunter is the perfect example of an honest student. She always tells the truth, no matter the circumstances. She understands the importance of being sincere with her friends and teachers at school. I know I can always count on Hunter to be truthful when I ask her about a situation. I am proud of this girl!”
~Mrs. Johnson
Adrienne Lansford
“Adrienne is a hard working student but the quality that I enjoy the most is her honesty. I know that I can count on Adrienne to tell the truth not only to me but to her friends. Adrienne is honest not only in her words but in her actions as well. At the beginning of the year I always tell my class above everything else I want them to be honest. It is the quality I admire most in students and Adrienne has the quality in spades.”
~ Ms. Brune
Brayden Himes
“Brayden is always honest with his peers and teachers even when he knows he is in the wrong. He is trustworthy and I can count on him to do the right thing. “
~Mrs. Flatt
Ross Holtschneider
"Ross Holtschneider is honest, trustworthy, and responsible. He always tells the truth. For example, he made his teacher a card which said, "I love you." Then he added, "Well, I don't really love you but I like you a lot!"
~Mrs. Burle
Izabella Backes
“Izabella is my honest student. Izabella is always honest and tells the truth even if it means admitting to doing something that was not right.”
~Mrs. Gilpin
Leo Massman
“Leo demonstrates honesty daily in the classroom and with his friends. He is a honest, hard worker in the classroom and keeps trying until he gets it rights. He is honest with all his friends and treats them all like his best friend. Leo will honestly tell you how he is feeling and what he thinks, which will make you laugh! ”
~Mrs. Wolfe
Abby Bishop
“Abby is honest and trustworthy, not only about the behaviors of others, but herself as well. She is a very dependable student who makes me proud to have her as one of my students.”
~Mrs. Jurd
Karley Frank
“I can always count on Karley to be honest. She tells the truth even when it isn't always an easy thing to do. ”
~Mrs. Shannon Wolfe
Tryten Collins
“Tryten is an all around great kid. He is an honest hard-working student. Tryten always strives to do his best. I can always count on him to do what is right. ”
~Mrs. Muenks
Alyssa Clavin
“I can always count on Alyssa to be honest- even if it will not be to her benefit. I know anything I ask her will be met with the truth. Honesty is one of Alyssa's best traits!” ~Mrs. Warren
Britt Winslow
“Britt is a very honest person and is always willing to own up if he is in error or if he does something his not supposed to do. If find this particular trait particularly honorable, because it shows how a person is at life in general. Britt endeavors to be honest, which is probably why he's a great sportsman. ”
~Mrs. Eisterhold
Jaiden Edwards
“ Jaiden has worked very hard this year to do his best. He is honest when asked tough questions. I have really enjoyed getting to know him this year. ”
