The physical features: Poison Dart Frog vs. Red Eyed Tree Frog
The physical features of a poison dart frog and red eyed tree frog are alike and different in many ways. Red Eyed Tree Frogs and the Poison Dart Frog are alike because they are about the same size. Also, another physical feature they both have is four toes on each foot. A difference in their physical features is that the skin on the Poison Dart Frog has bright colored skin. The Red Eyed Tree Frog has dark green colors. Another difference in their physical features is that the Poison Dart Frog have black eyes, but the Red Eyed Tree Frog have red eyes. As you can see, there are many similarities and differences between Poison Dart Frogs and Red Eyed Tree Frogs.
Life Cycle
The Poison Dart Frog goes through stages during its life which is called its life cycle. First, the male and female frog mate. Then, the female frogs lay their eggs in groups. Next, in about two weeks, the eggs hatch, or break, and there are tadpoles. Nine weeks later, the tadpole grows arms and legs. It also develops lungs and teeth. Next, the tadpole becomes a froglet. This is like a frog, but with a small tail. Finally, the frog becomes an adult frog. As you can see, the poison dart frog goes through an interesting life cycle.
Habitat
In my opinion, it is beneficial for a Poison Dart Frog to live in a tropical rainforest. Frogs need wet places because it is important for frogs to have moist skin. Frogs spend a lot of their lives in trees. The rainforest has a large amount of trees. This makes the rainforest a good habitat. Also, there are a lot of plants in the rainforest. These plants collect water from the rain which helps the frogs lay their eggs. As you can see, the rainforest is a perfect place for a Poison Dart Frog to live.
