People in Asia need reservoirs to live because it is a water source they need to find water. People use the water in a reservoir for animals, drinking, or crops, etc...


Irrigation: The watering of land to make it ready for agriculture

People in Asia use irrigation in reservoirs to make the water clean for agriculture. "Water is important for irrigation in many Asian regions that are either arid (as in most ofCentral and Southwest Asia), subject to long dry seasons because of pronounced monsoonal (seasonal) variation in rainfall (as in much of South and South West Asia).


All of the words have to do with water and finding a source for water or cleaning it.
