Ridgeview Rundown
Week of November 24th, 2014
Connections...
At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
THANK YOU for lighting the flame at Ridgeview!
This Week's News
Sams Club: To promote our focus on service to others, we are partnering with Sam's club. They will be visiting Ridgeview over the next few weeks to talk with kids at lunch about how they serve the community and to give our students a chance to talk about our service learning projects. They may also come into your classrooms to take pictures of our students "in action". We'll also have an assembly on December 12th at 3:00 to help all of our students see the impact that community service can have. I think it will be a great partnership to support the work our students are doing for the leadership assembly on December 19th.
Recognition: Just a reminder to send Leading Leaders awards to the office for our announcements. It's a great way to honor our students and remind others of the right thing to do.
Leadership Projects: Here is the link for everyone to add details to your Leadership/Service projects. If you have questions or need anything as we prepare to share our project ideas at the Leadership Assembly on December 19th, just let me know.
Girls on the Run: Good luck to our girls at their 5k this weekend! Thanks to our GOTR teachers for leading another great season!
RAZ Kids: If you requested RAZ Kids, you should have received an email with account information. If you didn't, please let me know.
Chromebooks: Please be sure you fully charge Chromebooks before they are sent to the LMC for repairs. We are receiving many that just need to be charged. Thanks for your help with this.
