We Read
"A Boy Called BAT" by Elana K. Arnold
WE read together every day!
During March 2023, Wilkesboro Elementary will take part in a special, community wide shared reading event called One School, One Book. Everyone – students, parents, teachers, even administrative staff – will be reading A Boy Called BAT by Elana K. Arnold. All students get their own copy, and we hope your family can find 15 minutes each day to read together at home. Reading together is a great way to connect, learn about the world, and have important conversations about growing up. If you need help or get behind in the reading, you can always find a staff member reading today's chapters aloud here. We will also share fun things to explore each day! We hope you'll enjoy A Boy Called BAT.
