Challenges of Planning a Funeral
At Eternal Rest Funeral Home we want our guests to enable trust in our abilities, making sure your questions, concerns, preferences, and any other additional info is met to the highest satisfaction. We understand the heartache and challenges associated with the death of a loved one. We are here to offer support, as well as offer services to celebrate and pay respect to the individual. It is our honor to accommodate any special needs or request, including religious aspects, in hopes to make this the most pleasant experience under the circumstances.
Avaliable Options
PREFERENCES
Whether you are taking the steps to plan your own service in advanced or planning a service for a loved one who has passed away, we want to provide you with the best options and meet your preferences. This can include the following:
type of service: funeral or cremation, speaker, music, flowers, dress code, handouts, seating arrangements, the wake, counseling options and/or suggested grieving groups.
CULTURAL
Do not fear or hesitate expressing your religious culture at Eternal Rest. We want to satisfy every guest and embrace diversity among our cultures. If you are unaware of the aspects associated with a certain religion, we have individuals available to help teach and/or determine which customs/rituals to incorporate. Some of the main religions we have celebrated in the past include Christian, Muslim, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam. We are always open to new religions and/or ideas that we can apply with our current laws and regulations.
PAYMENT
We are aware that our services are not typically expected nor planned, therefore we are very open to different pay methods such as cash, check, credit, as well as having certain payment options available. Our first priority is to give the most beautiful and honoring service we can provide, without causing additional stress over payment. It is our overall goal to help the best way we can during this difficult time.
Helping Those in Need
In addition to our services, we provide a counseling center where individuals can meet one on one with our professional therapists, or take part in our grieving groups (GG). We don't just want to help individuals for one memorable day, but encourage them to continue living a positive and healthy lifestyle. There is no charge for one on one meetings or grieving groups. In addition, any individual is welcome even if they have not used our services in the past. The grieving process is different for everyone, and we want to be a helping hand along ones journey for as long as it takes.
