Minnesota Safe Learning Survey
Families of school children are invited to participate in a statewide survey about their students’ experiences with learning during the pandemic. The survey is intended to help determine learning needs and the types of support that could be needed from individual districts, the Minnesota Department of Education or other organizations.
This survey is being conducted by the Wisconsin-Minnesota Comprehensive Center (WMCC) housed at the University of Minnesota’s Center for Applied Research & Educational Improvement (CAREI) in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). Participation is voluntary and anonymous. Please click this link if you wish to complete the survey.
Shortage of bus drivers
- Learn your bus number! If any routes are canceled, a district-wide message will be sent to you saying bus # ?? is not going to be running that particular day.
- Make a contingency plan. Decide ahead of time what you will do if your bus route is canceled.
- If a route is canceled, students may still attend school if you can transport them.
- If families are not able to transport student(s), students should email their homeroom teacher for assignments for that day
