THank you for a great FUN RUN!

Close to $22,000 has been raised! That is incredible!

On behalf of the Martell staff and students, thank you to the incredible parents and students that helped make this a successful event!

It was such a happy, fun celebration day. The weather was outstanding and it was so wonderful to see so many families come up and support the kids by cheering and joining in the fun.

A huge thank you to Michelle Phillips for her enthusiasm, organization and love for our school.

Your surely organized an incredible event!

Thank you to Nikey Bergi for announcing the shout outs and keeping us on track with the schedule.

You both have worked hard on this for a very long time - thank you!

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences

It is hard to believe Parent Teacher Conferences are almost here! Fall Parent-Teacher

conferences are held every school year in October for all students.

Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences are held in March but are not held for all students.

Fall conferences are a time to meet with your child’s teacher and discuss their progress so far this year. During these Fall Conference days, all Troy School District elementary students will have a half day of school dismissing at 12:29pm.

Conferences will take place from….

1:00pm – 4:00pm & 5:00pm-8:00pm

October 26 and 27, 2022

Our goal is 100% participation! We continue to pride ourselves on the partnership we have with our parents, and we look forward to discussing your child’s progress with you.

The Conference sign up link will be emailed Wednesday, October 12!

Halloween School Parties/Parade

Our Mustangs will be celebrating Halloween at Martell on Monday, October 31st! Our PTO room parents will be working with the classroom teachers to organize a party at the end of the day.

Students will be able to bring their school appropriate costumes to school to change into prior to the party. If your child’s costume is comfortable and not distracting to learning, they may wear it to school. If your child's costume has a weapon this obviously cannot come to school (no swords, guns, knives, etc.). Also, please leave masks at home.

While we recognize that Halloween is a fun time for students and some like to dress scary, please be considerate of the ages of students at Martell and use discretion. Bloody and gory costumes that promote violence are not school appropriate even on Halloween. Administration has the right to deny a costume or accessory if not school appropriate.

Thank you for your cooperation with this.

Mustangs will parade outdoors beginning at 1:45pm. Parents are welcome watch outside in the marked off area. After the parade, classroom parties will begin indoors and end at 3:00pm. Martell will need to be cleared of visitors at this time due to dismissal.

If you are coming to the parade and your child's classroom party, please come to the parade at 1:30pm to get signed in at the outdoor table. This way you are set to come inside after the parade.

The Book Fair is coming!

~If your child's pick up will be different than normal, please ALWAYS send a note to your child’s teacher.

~Please do NOT rely on email to a teacher. Teachers are teaching during the day, and sometimes cannot get back to their computer if it's a late message! We do not want to miss a dismissal message.

~We will not vary your child’s end of the day routine unless we have a note from you.

~Should you have an emergency and need to change his/her schedule, please call the office before 2:30pm
