No Teacher Left Behind Act
Important Bulletin
This is an important statement. Why?
As a teacher we all have a common goal and that is we want our students to succeed in life so they will become caring responsible adults. In order to do that teachers need to be well qualified.
Should all teachers across the country use certain practices?
Yes, I do believe that as a teacher we all need to practice the same standards. It is important that everyone is on the same page when it comes to educating our children. Each lesson plan is important, but as teachers we need to “think outside the box” and implement plenty of diverse activities. I enjoy talking to different teachers and learning new techniques that I myself can use in the classroom.
Should there be a consistent standard for all teachers to meet, just as students must pass high stakes tests? If so, what would be the standard?
Yes, it is vitally important for ALL teachers to continue their education. All across the country teachers need to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education and continue their education yearly with refresher courses. Learning never stops, even for teachers.
Lastly, share your thoughts on how well teachers are being prepared to master the ISTE Standards for Teachers standards in their classrooms.
These standards should be placed in every classroom. Just like children have rules in the classroom posted, teachers also need rules to follow.
