a message from the directors
Dear Legacy Choir Family,
I hope you are all doing well. It’s hard to imagine that we have been doing this since March and there are only three weeks left in the school year. Ms. Lafferty and I are both proud of each one of our students for persevering in these circumstances and rising to such unprecedented challenges. We can’t wait until we can see you all again!
Silver Elite Show Choir Auditions: Audition videos for show choir are due this Friday, May 15. Remember that both a singing and a dancing video must be submitted. I am so excited about our show for next year. I hope you’ll consider being a part of it.
Uniform Return: Legacy will be having a drop off day for school materials next Monday, May 18. Choir uniforms will need to be turned in during this time. They do not need to be dry cleaned. Dr. Butler included a schedule in last week’s parent email. I do not have full details yet, but the schedule from that email is included below. I will send out more information once I have it.
Monday, May 18
9-11 AM - Students with the last name A-L
1-3 PM - Students with the last name M-Z
Assignments for this week: This week’s assignment is dedicated to our choir senior class of 2020. The piece “May it Be” was the spring show senior song when this year’s senior class were freshman. Ms. Lafferty and I would like to dedicate this song to our amazing seniors. Students need to watch the performance video of this piece by Voces8 and submit a 2-3 sentence reflection.
As always, stay safe, wash your hands, and keep singing!
