Principal Update
I hope you are safe and rested. This newsletter has lots of information and many links to our website. Please read it over carefully and help us make sure your kids understand any changes. Details are below but we start a new bell schedule (with new start and end times) on January 21. We also have a link for some protocols that will be in place for those hybrid students returning (TBD) once the School Board confirms the metrics and return dates. There is also important information about mathematics courses for next year. Please check out the information and email me with any questions, eric.stewart@lcps.org.
We look forward to seeing everyone again.

Hybrid Return Reminders - from our Town Hall meetings
- We will have about 100 students per day, per grade.
- With hundreds of possible sections in the building, there may be several sections with one student in them. Those classes will not be combined as students will flow in and out of them as more students return.
- Here is a link to our hybrid return presentation and safety measures.

The 2021-22 Middle School Math Course Selection Process Document contains detailed information about this process. Additionally, this Information Video for Parents, explains the process and addresses many frequently asked questions. If you have further questions about the process, please reach out to your student’s teacher and/or guidance counselor.
Sincerely,
