The BULLetin
July - Special Edition
Principal's Message
Let me caution you. Those schedules are still being built. We are balancing classes and adjusting schedules and will be doing so right up until the go live in August. So, if you saw your schedule there is a real chance that it could still switch. There are a handful of students who do not have full schedules currently, transfer students and students who are appealing a class placement. Depending on all of those things, other students schedules can change as seats in 1st choice electives become available or we need to balance the number of students in a particular section.
Survival Skills
If you haven't signed up your 6th grade student for Survival Skills, time is running out. Survival Skills is a 2 hour experience to help your student connect with other 6th graders and get acclimated to life in junior high. Sessions run at 8:30, 10:30 and 1:30 on August 9 and August 10. Additional information and sign up, below.

School Fees Reminder
For the 2017-2018 school year, Community Unit School District 308 is implementing a new collection policy which requires payment of all outstanding student fees.
Students who are not in compliance with Policy 4:140 Student Fees will not be able to participate in athletics, prom, homecoming dance, promotion ceremonies, extra-curricular activities and district-sponsored clubs (e.g., after-school intramurals, chess, drama, speech, etc...). Also, they will be ineligible for parking permits and, in the case of graduating seniors, will not have access to their official transcripts.
