Stateside Elementary is collecting jars of peanut butter for the CHEW CHALLENGE March 27 – March 31. Did you know that 5000 children in Onslow County have been identified as critically in need of food? The Chew program is designed to help children and families with this need. Onslow County Schools and United Way are partners and are currently helping over 400 children receive food assistance on a weekly basis.
What is the CHEW CHALLENGE? It is a challenge to collect 30 items of food.
Stateside Elementary is accepting the CHEW CHALLENGE by collecting jars of peanut butter March 27 – March 31. We would like to encourage each classroom to collect 30 jars of peanut butter by March 31st. The peanut butter will be collected each morning from the homerooms and moved to the lobby so the students can see our collection grow.
Will you take the CHEW CHALLENGE and help take a bite out of childhood hunger?
Do you have a new Patriot ready to join the family? Early registration is right around the corner.
Registration dates are April 4th and 5th from 9:30-1:00 at Stateside. Your child must turn 5 on or before August 31, 2017. If you have any questions, please call our data manager Shannon Whaley.
If you cannot make it during early registration, we will have summer registration hours as well. Those will be posted at a later time.
We are looking forward to meeting all of our new Patriots!
