From The Principal
Paris Ridge Families -
What a week of weather! Leave it to Michigan to keep us on our toes….going from 40’s to almost 90 during the stretch of one week. Thank you to our families for continuing to monitor the weather each morning and ensuring students have the appropriate attire for what the day will bring. One item that I did mention last week was regarding footwear for the playground. I'll make another plug here to send students in with closed-toed shoes or sneakers that they can wear on the playground as this does significantly help minimize injuries!. It looks like next week will bring more “usual” spring weather, so please make sure students are ready for cool mornings and warmer afternoons.
With three weeks to go in the year, information will start to come home regarding end of the year events. One such, building-wide event, will be our annual Field Day which is set to take place on Wednesday, June 1st. This year, we are trying something new….all students will participate in ONE common Field Day from 12:40 to 3:15 pm. Parents are welcome to join us for the afternoon and walk around with classes to see the various events.
Have a great weekend!
Your Principal,
Mr. Vydareny

SUMMER TUTORING
My name is Mrs. Rath, and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Paris Ridge. If you are looking for summer tutoring for your child, feel free to contact me. I have tutored K-5th grade for the past 10 years and have enjoyed working with students and seeing them grow in confidence. Sometimes kids just need more time to master skills and extending that learning time can really make a difference. Tutoring also offers a one-on-one opportunity to improve reading, math and writing skills.
Feel free to email, and we can discuss the details. rathk@calschools.org
