News and Tidbits
Dear Falcon Ridge Families,
It was delightful to see many of our families at the PTO spaghetti dinner on Friday evening! There were many smiling faces and the food was delicious. We are overwhelmed by the positivity and outpouring of support we receive from our Falcon Ridge families. Please check out this week's newsletter for important updates and information.
Parent-Teacher Conferences:
We would like to remind you to mark your calendars for the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held from September 27th to 29th. These conferences are a vital opportunity for us to come together and discuss your child's progress. It's a time to address any concerns, share insights, and celebrate their achievements. More details regarding scheduling will be provided by your child's teacher in the coming days, so please stay tuned for that information. Your active participation in these conferences helps us tailor our approach to meet your child's needs effectively.
Attendance and Grades:
We kindly request that you remain diligent in regularly checking PowerSchool for your child's attendance and grades. Falcon Ridge's attendance guidelines have been thoughtfully implemented to provide the best possible environment for your child's academic success and overall well-being. Your involvement in monitoring their progress is invaluable, and we thank you for your ongoing support in this regard.
PTO Events This Month:
We are excited to inform you about the fantastic events organized by our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) this month. The PTO plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience for our students, and we are truly thankful for their dedication.
One of the highlights this month is the Scholastic Book Fair. It's an excellent opportunity to encourage your child's love for reading while supporting our school. The Book Fair will be open during parent/teacher conferences, and we encourage you to explore the wide selection of books and educational materials available.
As partners in your child's education, we are committed to ensuring their growth and success throughout the school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to support you and your child every step of the way.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we can make this academic year a truly exceptional one for your child.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jorgensen

Safe Student Pick-Up Process
As part of our continuous commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all our students, we kindly remind you of our designated student pickup protocol.
For the safety of our students, we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines during the student pickup process:
Designated Pickup Spot: Please arrive at the designated pickup spot indicated by the school. This helps streamline the pickup process and ensures a smooth flow of traffic.
Teacher Supervision: Our teachers will be present at the pickup spot to assist with safely escorting students to your vehicles. This also allows us to verify that the student is being picked up by an authorized person.
Communication: If there are any changes to the pickup routine, such as a different authorized person picking up the student, please inform the school office in advance. This will help us avoid any confusion and ensure the safety of your child.
Patience and Courtesy: We kindly ask for your patience during the pickup process, especially during peak times. Your courtesy towards fellow parents and staff is greatly appreciated.
By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively maintain a secure environment for all students. We sincerely thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your ongoing support in prioritizing the safety of our students.
