Brags and Awesomeness!!
Have huge successes coming from our RtI Time and Enrichment groups. Our kids are so excited about this learning, and sharing out their own creations. We have several students that are creating common murals as well in other enrichment groups. Working together to see the bigger picture! Way to go to our kids for using creativity and critical thinking skills as they work together and collaborate. GBE Proud!!
Star Staff for the Week- be sure to use your Reserved Space for Parking!
Stephanie Orscheln-- Thank you for working to help our 3rd Grade students use problem solving skills during their RtI Enrichment time with you and all of the Stem work that you have researched and used with them. This is way outside what you've been asked to do within your Speech room, but it comes naturally to you! We are blessed to have you as an educator that knows how to help students reach goals and see their strengths as they problem solve!!
John Warner- John is new to our building and works diligently as part of our custodial team with a smile. We are very lucky to have someone like him who is willing to take on any task given and always finds time to stop and ask how your day has been- it is small things like this that make our building a great place to be!! Thank you Sir for all of your hard work!
Staff Updates
Please be sure when taking students to the restroom, prior to Specials, that your class move through quickly in order to get them to Specials on time as a whole class. Your efforts to have them use the restroom are appreciated so they do not have to leave during that time. Thank you!
Note: The December Parent Newsletter had our Spirit Assembly on the incorrect date-- the 15th instead of the 20th. I have corrected this oversight, but want to be sure classroom teachers are making parents aware as well.
PTO will be purchasing a snack for each student for the Holiday Party on the 21st.
A sign out sheet will be created and put in your mailboxes for students the day of the Holiday Parties, if a parent chooses to check their child out early. Please turn these into Melissa by the end of the day on the 21st.
If you have any lights or decor that is plugged in be sure this is unplugged each day when you leave. Thank you-
