“Son of David, have pity on me!”
Now as he approached Jericho a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging, and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David,* have pity on me!” The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me!” Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, please let me see.” Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.” He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God. When they saw this, all the people gave praise to God.

Help support Holy Cross with a chance to win cash prizes!
Holy Cross is participating in the GRACE Schools 2021 Calendar raffle. There are 300 total drawings over the course of 2021 with $10,100 in prize money up for grabs. All winning tickets are placed back in the raffle so you have the potential to win at each drawing! Tickets are $20 each with all proceeds going back to the schools participating.
Information and calendars will be sent home this week in the parent folder, and we are asking for your support in selling 10 tickets per family. These will make great gifts for family, co-workers or friends! If Holy Cross reaches its goal, SAC will award the entire school with a pizza party! Thanks in advance for your continued support.

Holy Cross FAST - Families And School Together - A Quick Summary:
The primary mission of Holy Cross FAST is to develop a united effort between school and families to help provide the
greatest success in physical, mental, social and spiritual education for each student. Our school year this year looks a little different due to COVID-19, so the FAST Committee is working hard to find alternative events and opportunities to support our Holy Cross staff and provide opportunities for the students and their families to connect in meaningful ways.
So far this year, FAST has provided the following:
- "Welcome back to school" lunch for Holy Cross staff in August
- Face mask lanyards for all students and staff in September
- Starbucks coffee treat for Holy Cross staff during their September In-Service
Upcoming events that we are very excited about:
- Lunch for the Holy Cross staff on November 20.
- Tubing at Kewaunee Winter Park, January 29, 6:00 - 9:00 (no cost to Holy Cross families)
- Ice skating at Cornerstone Community Center, date TBD (no cost to Holy Cross families)
- 8th Grade Graduation
- Swimming at Ashwaubomay Park, date in the summer TBD (no cost to Holy Cross families)
FAST is a great way to meet people and get involved. Please join us! We meet (virtually) the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining our very fun FAST Committee, please contact the school office for details.
