Big picture

7th Grade

Students have been working on expository text including text features and text structures. We were lucky enough for Clemens High school to send us copies of their student created newspaper, The SC Correspondent, to work on a project picking out text features and responding to a student selected article.

8th Grade

All students need a poster board (white or very light color) and markers/map pencils for the final project next week.

Performance Information

The band holiday concert is on December 7th at Clemens at 6pm.

The choir holiday concert is on December 13th at Clemens at 6:30. Call times were sent home in a note with students.

Law enforcement officers will give the stuffed animals to children in crisis. Stuffed animal donations can be given to Ms. Mendez in room H-103 by Friday, Dec. 9. The dance will be held on Friday, January 13th from 5-7pm in the Corbett Cafeteria.

Nurse and Attendance

Service Project

Thank you to all those who helped and/or participated in our service project SHP (Sleep in Heavenly Peace) on November 19th. We had families delivering beds to kids in need. We had families and athletes building beds at the warehouse. Thank you for making a difference.

If you would like more information about this event please contact Coach McAliley

From the Librarian

A big THANK YOU to the amazing response for volunteer help in the library! Thank you to everyone who reached out and to those who came in and helped. It took less than a week to complete what would’ve taken me weeks on my own. We truly have the best families!

Four-Year Plans

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Student registration is underway! Currently, high school students are meeting individually with their counselor to review their four-year plan and courses for 2023-2024. 8th grade students will begin their registration by the end of November, and all registration for students in 8th - 11th grade will be complete by March 1, 2023. Parents and guardians of current 8th and 9th grade students will receive a separate invitation to discuss and review their student’s personal graduation plan.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive a copy of the courses selected to review and make changes if necessary. Individual course selections will be automatically uploaded into the student information system so students will not need to complete a separate registration. Please review the link below for additional information and resources pertaining to graduation plans, endorsements, course selections, and more. If you have any questions, please contact your student's current counselor.
