Jumbo Jackpot Deadline Extended Until Wednesday, 11/18!

We have extended the deadline for Jumbo Jackpot tickets to be returned. Get them - and your payment - in by this Wednesday, November 18th! Send in your checks - or pay online here. (Please - no cash!)

As many of you know, this is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, which helps us earn money to support Holy Family while also giving you and your family the chance to win some big bucks. (FYI: Almost $2000 was awarded to last year's 1st place winner!)

The prize drawing will be this Friday, November 20th, on Facebook Live.

Lots of Holiday Fun at the Winter Festival This Year!

This year, celebrate Christmas and support Holy Family by joining us at the Winter Festival! This multiday fundraising event runs from Tuesday, December 1st, through Saturday, December 5th, including an online auction and culminating in a virtual wine tasting hosted by Chaddsford Winery.

The Winter Festival schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 1st - Advent Prayer Service
  • Wednesday, Dec. 2nd - Winter Wonderland at Ahearns Market - Come join us for some hot chocolate and goodies, a visit and pictures with Santa, and purchase your Christmas tree, wreath, grave blanket, and more!
  • Thursday, Dec. 3rd - Holiday Lights Tour & Winter Craft Workshop - Drive around town and vote on the best Christmas displays, then join us for a virtual Board & Brush workshop.
  • Friday, Dec. 4th - Trivia Night & Holiday Concert - Test your knowledge on all things winter and Christmas, and enjoy a virtual concert afterward!
  • Saturday, Dec. 5th - Our Grand Finale Event - Join a virtual wine tasting hosted by Chadds Ford Winery.

There are 2 price points:

Winterfest Silver Pass - $50

Your Silver Pass entitles you to all basic activities from Dec 1-4 for Winter Festival. If you would like to participate in the Wine Tasting Event, please purchase a Gold Pass.

Activities included:

  • Advent prayer service on Dec. 1st
  • A picture with Santa and a complimentary hand-crafted hot chocolate at the Winter Market Garden event on Dec. 2nd
  • No cost entry into the Holiday Lights decorating contest on Dec. 3rd
  • No cost entry into the Winterfest Trivia Night on Dec. 4th as well as access to a virtual holiday concert
  • A special keepsake Christmas ornament

Winterfest & Wine Gold Pass - $100

Your Gold Pass entitles you to all Winter Festival activities PLUS the Wine Tasting event on Saturday, December 5th.

Activities included:

  • All of the above from the Silver Pass PLUS...
  • The Chadds Ford Winery Holiday Cheer pack - 3 bottles of their exclusive holiday wines - Spiced Apple, Holiday Spirit (red), and Sparkling White
  • Access to a virtual wine tasting hosted by Chadds Ford Winery on Dec 5th

Note: There will be opportunities for Dress Down Days for students that week to support the Winter Festival as well, with themes to be announced soon. Cost will be as follows: All 4 days=$10/child. Hybrid (2 days)=$5/child. 1 day=$3/child.

Holy Family Night at Winter on Broad

Holy Family Night at Winter on Broad is a holiday event at Wells Fargo Center, where you can walk through "enormous light displays, sculptures and animations." See more details on this flyer and the link to buy tickets here.

Note: We are looking to get a group together to attend on Saturday, December 12th, but other dates are available for purchase as well if families can't attend then or would prefer another day/time.

Just in time for your holiday shopping needs, please check out our Holy Family Spirit Wear Store via this link. Show off your school pride and share it with your friends and family!

And our annual Santa Secret Shop will be going virtual this year with gifts delivered directly to your home by Fun Services. It will kick off on Sunday, November 22nd, and will run through Monday, December 7th. Link coming soon, with discounted shipping charges and free shipping on orders more than $35.

Fundraising Committee

As we look to support additional fundraisers this school year and beyond, we would love to create a fundraising committee. We need volunteers to help solicit donations for our various fundraising activities, including but not limited to: Spirit Stroll, Gift Card fundraiser during Catholic Schools Week, and Dine-Out Nights. If interested, please email us at hsa@holyfamilyaston.org. Once we have some volunteers, we'll look to set up a Zoom meeting to brainstorm ideas and assign tasks.
