Mrs. Naragon IS GOING to the Ron Clark Academy

OK parents... in case you have not heard, Ally Saxon (a fabulous kindergarten teacher at Austin Elementary) and I were awarded a grant from out AMAZING PTO to attend a professional development opportunity of a lifetime! We are SOOOOOOOO excited to attend the Ron Clark academy for two whole days. The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) is a highly-acclaimed, nonprofit middle school located in Southeast Atlanta. The Academy has received both national and international recognition for its success in educating students with academic rigor, passion, and creativity balanced by a strict code of discipline. If you have never heard of Ron Clark, I really encourage you to look him up and read about him or watch some of his crazy videos with his kids. I can guarantee that you will be just as excited as we are!!!

With that being said, we are leaving on Wednesday after school and will be in class with our teaching idols all day on Thursday and Friday! Mrs. Moore will be my substitute and will take great care of our kids. I will have limited access to e-mail but if you need anything at all, please e-mail Mr. Wu or contact the front office at 214-496-7300.
