We are so glad that the space topic is lasting for 5 weeks! The children have had enormous fun being astronauts and flying to the moon and on the way have discovered new words such as oxygen, gravity and planet names. Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers
They're back!!! If you shop at Sainsbury's please don't forget to collect the Active Kids Vouchers - available from Wednesday 25 January - all vouchers gratefully received.
Wednesday 25 January- 5.30pm: Singers Recital
Girls learning with Mrs Barter and Mrs Foster will be taking part in a singing concert held in the Main Hall. All parents and friends are welcome to attend. A letter has been sent home with further information. Please return if your child wishes to go home between the end of school and the concert. Parents are invited for refreshments from 5.10pm.

Library News - BBC 500 Words Competition
Aged between 5 and 13? Like writing stories? Then the 2017 500 Words competition is just for you! Just write an original story on any subject or theme in 500 words or fewer and submit it online. If you win, your story will be read live by a superstar celebrity… AND you’ll be invited to the final at the Tower of London in June. The competition is open until 23 February.
